Hey guys! Combat Zone was so kind that they sent me the newest ASG STORM 360 Impact grenade that came out in 2017 but instead of doing a simple review of it I decided to compare it to the popular TORNADO grenade So first of all, both of them are impact which means that it “explodes” as it reaches hard surface My Tornado grenade is 4 years old and it was with me in all the games but as it is 4 years old, I got some issues with it but in my opinion 4 years is quite good as it is an object that you are throwing all the time and get used pretty easily I’d like to start the comparison with the external features As you can see the STORM is a bit wider but smaller its height is exactly 9 cm and its perimeter is 22 cm as the TORNADO has a cylindrical shape its perimeter is 17 cm and its height is 12 cm Because of this, it’s a bit easier to store the TORNADO But you can fit the STORM in a standard M4 pouch as well Maybe a bit harder to push inside and pull out but you can see it fits in here both grenades are made of high strenght nylon polymer but there’s a weak part in the TORNADO which is the valve cover that I’ve heard a lot that it can break easily There’s no such part on the STORM as the valve is on top it’s negative side is if you throw it in a dirty place, dirt might stuck in it The mass of the STORM is 285 g while the TORNADO is 240 g because of this the STORM might feel a bit tougher It’s also an important question regarding these grenades How many parts it has that you could lose because you are throwing these! In this case STORM is the winner because our TORNADO grenade has a pin that you also have on the STORM I’ve already lost it so I made a custom one using a temple of a glasses but you can buy a spare one for about 2 dollars but shipping to Hungary costs 20 dollars so thanks I’m satisfied with this What I’d suggest to solve this is tying the pin to the grenade so that you won’t lose it It’s a bit harder to do on the STORM Thanks to its shape you can’t really tie it anywhere it would easily fall off of it and you can’t tie it to its upper part because then you can’t get the pin into the grenade As I said, there are more part on the TORNADO that you could lose first of all the valve cover secondly the trigger components that you have to lace on the pin in a specified order that are responsible for its action And then let’s get into the differences concerning their mechanism So first off, you need more time to get the TORNADO in working condition as you have to get its upper part off lace the trigger components in a specified order on the pin then take off the valve cover fill with gas reapply valve cover fill with BB on both sides then you can use it on the other hand it’s much easier to do with the STORM it’s not complicated at all you have to do 3 simple steps first put the pin in the grenade fill with gas and fill with BBs at one side I know it’s much easier and faster to load the BBs in the grenade only at one side but that’s the only way where the BBs can leave the grenade as well what this means is that the TORNADO can spread the BBs faster in different directions the STORM spreads the BBs also very widely but a bit slower and in my opinion it’s not bad at all in case of an impact grenade as it does not shoot the BBs all at once but in different “portions” so it requires more time but it can cover a room pretty easily In its name you can find 360 referring to the fact that it moves around its axis not just once but more times so it can spread the BBs very well and the fact that it does not shoot the BBs at once, but in small “portions” it can cover more directions The TORNADO is a bit easier, it shoots the BBs in 2 different directions t the same time so it covers the room a bit faster You can put more BBs in the TORNADO about 200 and the STORM can contain 165 but I don’t recommmend filling them full with BBs as none of them will shoot all of the BBs so a few BBs will remain inside the grenade Moreover, it’s not that effective It won’t shoot the BBs as fast when I was trying both, the STORM was more reliable Obviously I know it’s 4 years old I don’t use it with the original pin but I had some cases when it exploded in my hand and this is a big problem during game As the STORM is brand new I didn’t have any malfunctions but I don’t think itt will, as it’s construction is much more simple What I noticed when I was trying it out that it explodes a bit worse than the TORNADO as you have to throw it a bit stronger For example I tried to fall it from 0,5 meter but it didn’t go off so you have to throw it a bit stronger or from a bit higher to make the grenade explode But seeing the characterisctics of both it made me consider to replace my TORNADO to a new STORM grenade As it’s much more user-friendly it’s pretty simple but very good quality grenade and it’s cheaper by 10 dollars than the TORNADO it’s about 75-80 dollars and you can get this about 65 dollars Also, you can get this at Combat Zone in 3 different colors this green zombie green or neon green and in black I don’t hink I would go for this green because you can hardly find it in grass for example I would go for zombie green but it’s not that.
..nice.. I think TORNADO with this color is better, as it’s not that ugly but you can find it more easily than this green or a black one I hope you liked this video, and now you can decide which one you like more TORNADO STORM both of them are good just have one for a hard situation at a game Me, myself would go for this one but you have to decide after these facts I told you If you enjoyed this video, please hit that Like button And also subscribe for more interesting reviews and new, exciting gameplays are coming too So you get notified immediately as I upload a new video So until the next one, take care, bye!
