Thanks to them ! Hello YouTube and welcome to this new unboxing video ! Today, I unbox, again, some new ICS guns, as you can imagine from the ICS tape on the box ICS which, once again, is generous with me, since they sent me for free two more guns This time it’s the CXP APE and the CXP HOG At the time I’m doing this video they are still upcoming model, for now I don’t know their price of where they’re going to be available They will probably be between 250 and 350 € (I’m talking about French price, not Asian prices) Here is the CXP HOG, note it’s the front wired version And here is the CXP APE Obviously they didn’t sent me all the different variants, but be aware of the fact that different versions exist The gun of course, booklet, cleaning rod, some bbs, spare fuses, rails for the hand guard Front sight adjusting tool, sling mount, charging handle and a tool for dismantling the outer barrel And here is the CXP HOG, with more or less the same packaging I have cut the video a little just in order to get the guns out and put some accessories on them On the CXP APE I have put the charging handle and the sling mount The sling mount is given with the gun, sometime you have a QD sling mount attachement on the gun but it’s not given with the gun You can put it on the left side and.
.. Well, only on the left side actually What can I say on ICS guns I didn’t say already ? For the record, the very first AEG I bought was a MP5 SD3 ICS, I used it for years and I liked it a lot I always liked ICS, as far as I’m concerned it’s a good brand, with good quality/price products Lately, the logic of ICS has been to make “original” designs, which aren’t realistic but are ICS own design It’s the case for those two guns, the CXP APE being a Masada like guns but not an exact replica The CXP HOG is a M4 variant, but with ICS specific parts (hand guard, flash hider, sights, pistol grip, stock, markings.
..) The biggest difference with the TransforM4 (CXP UK1) I tried already is the hand guard On the HOG, it’s very easy to access the battery compartment since you only need to remove one pin A nice update compared to the CXP UK1, on which you have to remove a lot of screws On the front wired variant of the TransforM4, it makes the battery instalation really annoying It’s much better here, obviously Be aware of the fact that front wired and rear wired versions exist, so be aware of what version you’re buying if you’re going to get one One of the main feature of those ICS guns is their “splitable” Gear Box You remove one pin and you can easily break the gun in two like this Note the split gear box ; the lower part with the gears, switch and stuff and the upper part with spring and piston If like me you don’t like to put your hands inside your guns too much, this is nice since it’s very easy You can very easily change the spring, and also the hop up unit, hop up rubber and inner barrel For “small” upgrades (spring, hop up, barrel) it’s enough and very easy to do The battery on the CXP APE goes inside the stock There is actually a lot of room, I’ll try to put a big battery inside I guess It’s a folding stock, the wire is reinforced so it wont break easily One of the feature of the CXP ARE is the 3 ways you can unlock the magazine Pushing up this lever here, the mag release button on the left side here And mag release lever on the right side as usual I’m not a big fan of multiple ways to remove a magazine since it increases the chance to do it accidentally It happened to me a lot with the GHK G5 (which has an ambidextrous mag release button) when the gun hangs on my gear Note though, the button is protected all around it so a flat thing shouldn’t be able to push it When you pull the charging handle, it blocks the fake bolt to the rear so you can adjust the hop up Then you can push the bolt catch here Another feature of ICS new guns : the spring release system When you put the gun on safe, it releases all the tension inside the gear box It means you don’t need to dry fire a single time in semi auto in order to do that, which is nice Note the sling mount on the left side It’s quite wide, sometimes this kind of sling mount are too narrow Note the markings, which are 100% airsoft Like it or not, since it’s not supposed to be a 100% realistic replica, I don’t really mind I like the color also, I’m not a big fan of Tan guns in general but in this case I think it looks nice The hand guard and upper receiver are metal, the lower receiver is plastic The ICS 300 rounds High-Cap magazine, with this window allowing you to see how much bbs remain in the magazine Still not a big fan of High-Cap magazine personally, but it’s a nice feature I guess Note the sticker, reminding us that’s it’s a blowback AEG Note the sling mount too Some informations from the booklet, as I said front wired and read wired versions are available It’s supposed to be 395 FPS, which is quite high for most games in France 11.
1V for the battery type, but be aware of the fact that this type of battery should be used with the original spring If you put a weaker spring, I would recommend to use a 7.4V battery so you won’t break your piston ICS Turbo 3000 motor, 3000 gr, 261 mm for the inner barrel Here for the CXP APE ICS tells us that the upper of the TransforM4 CXP UK1 is compatible with the CXP HOG Which makes sense I guess that’s it, I believe I said everything I had to say Of course I’ll make a video for each of those guns I made a single unboxing video for both guns since they share a lot of the same features I don’t think I’m going to be disapointed since I always liked ICS guns, the power is just going to be too high I guess But as we have seen it’s very easy to change it If you don’t mind the fact those aren’t 100% realistic replicas of actual guns, I think they’re a nice choice The “user friendly” internals are a nice thing if, like me, you don’t like to put your hands inside the gun too much Thanks for watching and see you next time for the shooting videos
