Hey what’s up brothers I’m Viper and I’m Instinct and as for today neither of us is going to do most of the talking which is quite unusual. We’ll have it done by someone who became our friend in the past few months and who we are doing multiple projects with.
And for this guy we’ve prepared a few questions regarding the use of airsoft as a professional training tool, but before we dive into that make sure to subscribe and hit the bell but to stay notified of our upcoming videos.
Also make sure to check out reconbrothers.com for our awesome monthly quality giveaways and go have a look at shop.reconbrothers.com for your quality tactical needs. Now, without any further ado let’s dive into the questions.
Hi, my name is Instructor Delta I’m the owner and the head instructor of the Delta Survival School. I’m specialized in tactical, survival, military Krav Maga and OPP: operational physical preparation trainings.
I’m an ex-military of the Georgian Army and special force where I served 6 years from 2004 to 2010. I have four years on the squad leader experience in the light infantry battalion and 2 years as a light machine gunner in the Special Operations Forces.
I have been deployed in Kosovo 2006, in Iraq 2008. I’m also a veteran of the russian-georgian conflict in 2008. I’m awarded with a NATO medal for service with them in Iraq and Kosovo. To keep myself updated I was always attempting the tactical and anti terroristic courses and still today I’m on it, because there is never enough to practice and there is never enough to training and it’s always necessary to repeat the basics to be able to move forward.
I have shot with many different weapons, even the RPGs, but I served with the … in the beginning from the ak-47, after we had the ak-74s, after we had the m4a1 and in the end RPK, light machine gun.
From the pistols I have a lot of experience with the HK p8, beretta and Glock 17. AIrsoft, I discovered yeah one of my friend invited me to play airsoft and I really found it really fun, because to run behind this moving targets and stuff, it was really fun but I didn’t take it serious because this electric guns with the high-capacity magazines like a 300 BBs inside and people like a running like crazy I didn’t take it like a too serious, but after I discovered this gas blowback system which I found really really realistic with the low capacity mags and moving bolt and they’re light, but also really good recoil I found it really serious and I even integrated in to my tactical trainings Well for me there are 2 different kind of airsoft weapons.
One is the gas blowback weapon and the others. I can’t say anything about the others, but gas blowback weapon is a really good training alternative and you can easily start from the basics and go even through the advanced techniques because it’s really close to the reality.
Unfortunately in today’s days, there I see a lot of airsoft guns being used as toys, but I see them less as a sport or training system. Okay, so to say shortly my favorite airsoft system is a gas blowback guns with real capacity magazines and why because it’s too close to the reality and its really really badass.
With the gbbr you can train almost all the weapon fundamentals like sights to focus, the stability techniques, the dry firing, trigger control and even force to force training, because it’s way more cheaper than the simunition bullets.
Also with the gbbr it can improve your skills which you can translate after to the firearms Personally me I use gas blowback system on my tactical trainings in the Delta Survival School and I want to tell you there’s the difference between a realistic gun and the gas blowback is not so big.
Only thing personally me I miss is the smell of the burnt gunpowder and the sound, there is no anymore difference. So that’s it for our questions make sure to let us know in the comments down below whether or not you agree with Delta’s point of view on this and do you use airsoft as a professional training tool yourself.
Now you might have also noticed the video playing in the back of Delta when he was speaking which is one of the projects we are working on with him. Now this is a team that is called “Delta Ops” which we are creating with the purpose to become one of the most professional teams in the airsoft community whereas all the members are trained by instructor Delta himself.
Now, you can still apply to this team as well by contacting Delta through email@example.com. Again make sure to LIKE, subscribe, hit bell button, thanks for watching and we’ll see you next week.
