Today, we went on an event hosted by another club, whose organisers invited multiple other airsoft clubs from Greece. We were split into 3 factions, each with two bases that we needed to protect, while also stealing drug packages from the other factions’ bases.
Every player is a medic and can be revived once, before going to the respawn area in the middle of the field. I had major feeding issues today, and the culprit were the bbs I used, which was probably just a bad batch.
They kept jamming inside all my magazines after firing 5-6 shots. The problem was fixed when a teammate gave me his bbs but unfortunately I don’t have footage where the gun was working properly. In fact my recording today was a complete mess, because of the dress code I wore a baseball cap that made the camera angle too high, and I also put the camera on a very fast timelapse while recording by mistake, which depleted both the battery and the memory very fast.
Nevertheless other than this attack the game was rather uneventful from my perspective, as I stayed back to defend the base for the rest of the game. Teammate giving signs about possible contacts – Straight ahead.
– Same team! – Yellow!(team) Sorry! – Do you see them? – A bit further than that guy. – Stay in cover! – Moving left. – K. – I see them running downhill, they must have stolen the drugs. – Yeah. – Nice and slow.
– Contact! Straight ahead, on the clearing, 60-70 meters – Let’s go! – Right there, can’t reach him from here. – Breaking right – Copy. – Moving across! – #@^&$ mags!! I thought the mags were the problem at this point, which is why you will see me changing them (to no avail) – Move forward! – Nice! Move up! (teammate hit an enemy attempting to hit me) – ^#&*$@$@*## feeding issue.
– Think I can move to the right? – Yeah. – Tell me when. – Move? – Go ahead. – Moving up. My “revived” armband was slipping so I tied it again. 32 00:09:35,500 –> 00:09:40,000 Signing to friendlies about enemy whereabouts.
