I´m not selling Gearbest stuff, but at that time was the best offer for me. Talking about this, if they want to send my a gift for the free publicity , welcome 🙂 Yes!!! My 3D printer arrives!!! This is a really cheap one.
You have to assembly it, not so hard and have a lot of videos on youtube to help. The idea here is to solve an issue I aways have when filming by scope cam. talkin about the camera support / adapter for scopes, this make this kinda movie possible.
Who likes to film the shots or already try it knows it´s a pain in the ass to setup the camera in the adapter. Spend a lot of time an it´s not perfect From the idea to the final product, lot´s of errors, failures, that mess you can probably imagine.
From zero, it´s really hard to do it right at the first attempt. Project finished, prototype ok, and the result is this A scope cam support adapter low cost, easy to install and use. To show how it works I will use my GAMO Coyote PCP, equiped with a Hawke scope.
This version is for 40 mm eye piece scopes but I can easilly change and print for other dimmensions After the first adaptor is installed allow you to fine tune the eye relief distance. Other models in the market you have to glue some adaptor on the camera.
Using a super glue for sure will not be easy to remove it later if you want. My adapter fits perfect and use the tripod screw hole So there are no need to glue nothing so then you camera is not changed at all, original.
Finally we have the tube that connects both adapters and here is the magic This was projected to have space for the zoom, nothing touchs nothing, works just fine The last thing is connect! The sistem works by pressure, no screws, nothing! Simple, easy, quick and functional! You can perform fine adjustments spending no time Easy to mount and dismount and the filming result is awesome Excellent for normal speed recording or slow motion Windy as usual here, not 90º angle but the wind was pushing the pellet to the right.
Again in slow motion, Target at ~90m , It flyies straight but before the impact the wind did it´s job 🙂 hope you liked the video and the product, links in video description, any question just ask!
